This project was designed for a restaurant located in Morges and consists of several distinct units such as the winter garden, terrace, bar area, main dining room, and more intimate seating zones, accommodating a total of 147 guests. Beyond fulfilling the standard functions of a restaurant, the design aims to create warm, semi-private (pseudo-private) spaces where visitor groups can comfortably spend time together. The existing raw concrete interior walls have been preserved, while the partition elements, bar, welcome counter, and service counter are constructed using a combination of raw concrete, wood, and ceramic surfaces. This material palette gives the space a natural, inviting, and timeless character. A large glass wall between the kitchen and the dining area adds transparency and a sense of liveliness, fostering a social dynamic that enhances the welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant. Ce projet, conçu pour un restaurant situé à Morges, se compose de plusieurs unités distinctes - le jardin d’hiver, la terrasse, l’espace bar, la salle à manger principale ainsi que des zones d’assise plus intimistes - pouvant accueillir jusqu’à 147 personnes. Au-delà de la fonction classique d’un restaurant, l’objectif est de créer des espaces chaleureux et semi-privés (pseudo-private) où les groupes de visiteurs peuvent passer un moment convivial en toute aisance. Les murs intérieurs en béton brut ont été conservés, tandis que les éléments de séparation, le bar, le comptoir d’accueil et le comptoir de service ont été réalisés en béton brut associé au bois et à la céramique. Cette combinaison de matériaux apporte au lieu un caractère naturel, accueillant et intemporel. Une grande paroi vitrée entre la cuisine et la salle de restaurant renforce la transparence et la dynamique sociale, contribuant à l’atmosphère chaleureuse et conviviale du restaurant.
